Various Back Pain Causes

in Back-pain

There are many different causes of lower back pain, as almost any segment of the spine can be damaged and give rise to pain. Disorders of other parts of the body, particularly the lungs, kidneys and female reproductive organs can also cause backache. Most back pain is neither severe nor life-threatening, and can be treated adequately at home.

Accordingly, then the structural deformities of the involved vertebrae can cause the spinal canal to be narrower, thus impacting the spinal nerves, and causing sciatica back pain.t joints, which are the flat surfaces on each vertebra that form the spinal column, can also begin to thicken somewhat. That thickening pushes against the spinal nerves, hence you have sciatica back pain, as a result.

This occurrence causes varying levels of microscopic degenerations in the tissues affected by the injury, often through overuse improper use, or trauma. Lumbar strain is considered acute if the patient has experienced pain for only days or weeks while it is considered chronic if the pain is experienced for over three months.

The body is one contiguous unit. It must be treated as such. If you chase the pain trying to get back pain relief, far too often you'll come up empty. The pain you experience in a certain spinal area, say the lower back, may not be the primary area that's injured. For instance, middle back pain causes muscle spasms, which can cause the lower back, or even neck and shoulders to overwork by compensating.

Due to osteoarthritis or other medical conditions the spinal canal gets constricted which causes back pain, this situation is spinal stenosis. The rigidity of spinal canal can irritate sciatica nerve as well as root nerves to aggravate the pain in the lower back further.

It could also be because of muscle pull in the back. Muscular pain is among the common back pain causes, which can occur while attempting to carry a heavy weight. Pain that is constant around the chest or mid back area could be the result of a fractured rib. The reason could be an injury or long set osteoporosis, which weakens the bones. Kidney infections can also cause pain in the mid-back. The symptoms are pain and discomfort during passing of urine.

Back pain causes include an unsuitable posture, bending too sharply or lifting heavy things that cause a jerk in our muscles and the back and any kind of injury. Back pain is also caused by some medical problems like Osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, Herniated disk, infection in kidney, bladder or urinary tract, gynecological problems and tumors of varied kinds.

Lower your risk. Don't overtax yourself with more physical activity than your body is ready for. Maintain a good level of physical fitness and proper weight, and stretch muscles before and after exercise.

This is due to excess strain being placed on one muscle group due to an imbalance in the performance between muscle groups and can result in muscle and joint damage. I see fractures to spinal bones caused by falls and car/bike accidents.
